Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to manage container operations and customer coordination at ICD Tumb Vapi and Turbe Navi Mumbai. The role involves close coordination with shipping lines, transport teams, port and rail operations, and customers to ensure smooth import/export container handling and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:Import Operations:

  • Continuous follow-up with customers for Bill of Lading (BL) and updating in TOS (Tracker).
  • Daily vessel tracking and updating ETA in Tracker.
  • Coordination with port rail operations for evacuation of urgent containers.
  • Follow-up on scanning issues, MOTs, and dispatches from port.
  • Coordination with rail team for rake placement at ICD.
  • Coordination with ICD ops for container shifting from RY to CY.
  • Informing customers and shipping lines about seal mismatch and container damage.
  • Notification to customers upon container arrival at ICD (Auto DAR).
  • Collecting de-stuffing plans and sharing with planning team.
  • Arranging documents prior to dispatch and for vehicle diversion.
  • Follow-up with drivers for empty gate-in and repo container dispatch.
  • Coordination for revalidated DOs and demurrage payments.
  • Sharing data for additional billing and credit notes.
  • Handling customer queries via mail, phone, and WhatsApp.
  • Daily updates to customers on scanning and damage cases.
  • Monthly preparation of loaded gate-in reports.

Export Operations:

  • Follow-up with customers for Delivery Orders (DO) and validation with MNR team.
  • Sharing inventory reports via WhatsApp.
  • Seeking approvals for NSA pickup if inventory is unavailable.
  • Updating DOs in TOS (Tracker).
  • Collecting stuffing plans and coordinating with planning and transport teams.
  • Informing customers about dispatches and vehicle release.
  • Coordination with rail ops for dispatches near cutoff.
  • Handling via charges/shut out cases.
  • Sharing data for additional billing.
  • Responding to customer queries via mail and phone.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and operational tracking systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of container logistics and documentation.
  • Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,217.33 - ₹25,199.97 per month
