Job Description

Role & responsibilities

primary interface between Knorr-Bremse and OEM customers

Customer Quality Management

  • Lead Zero-Km, field claim analysis and resolution (8D, PSS, Shainin, DOE)
  • Trigger / push implementation of correctives / preventives actions internally
  • High experience / understanding on safety products
  • Handle high-impact (serious) customer claims and ensure robust root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
  • Coordinate customer audits, visits, and Customer score cards reviews.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customer quality representatives and ensure issue closure
  • Ensure compliance to customer-specific requirements and warranty management systems

Quality Systems

  • IATF 16949 and VDA standards (VDA6.3,VDA6.5,VDA FMEA etc)
  • APQP & PPAP activities for new and change projects
  • Deep understanding on Customer OE Requirements

Leadership & Competence Development

  • Coach internal teams on problem-solving methodologies (8D, PS, Shainin, 6 Sigma)
  • Drive competence development programs and foster a customer-focused quality culture
  • Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects

Crisis Management & Escalation Handling

  • Lead cross-functional teams during crisis situations (field failure, stop shipment, escalations)
  • Ensure timely and transparent reporting to management and customers
  • Engage in structured problem-solving and quick response strategies under pressure

Customer Projects & Quality Improvement

  • Drive implementation of Lessons Learned and prevention systems across programs
