SummaryConsultant (Functional/Technical) is responsible for executing specialized configuration, build, and deployment tasks within specific Oracle Health solution areas. The role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on system capabilities, ensuring successful delivery of system configuration, integration, and support activities. The consultant provides end-user support during critical phases and contributes to testing, defect resolution, and documentation to maintain high-quality system performance.________________________________________Roles & Responsibilities
System Configuration & Build:Perform hands-on configuration and system build activities in alignment with approved design specifications.Testing & Validation:Execute Unit, System, and Integration testing, document outcomes, and resolve identified defects.Data Management:Support data mapping, ETL processes, and perform data validation and reconciliation post-migration.Documentation:Develop detailed system build documentation, user job aids, troubleshooting guides, and configuration workbooks.Incident Resolution (AMS):Address and resolve high-priority incidents escalated by the Service Desk, focusing on specific domain or system errors.Collaboration & SME Support:Serve as a domain expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide input on solution design and optimization.________________________________________Professional &
Technical ExperienceMinimum of 3+ years of experience in Healthcare IT with direct, hands-on configuration or support of at least one full Oracle Health solution.Proficient in Oracle Health System Build and Configuration across one or more of the following modules:oFunctional:Patient Accounting (Soarian Financials/RevElate), Registration, Scheduling, HIM, Charge Services, Acute Case Management, Pathology, Behavioral Health, Emergency Medicine, Gen Lab, Inpatient Nursing & Ancillaries, Pharmacy, Oncology, Radiology, Perioperative, Power Trials, Rehab Therapies, Maternity, Blood Bank, Community Care, Long-term Care, Geriatrics, Home-based Primary Care, Infection Control, Ambulatory/Inpatient Behavioral Health, Quality Reporting, Supply Chain.oTechnical:CCL, SQL, Custom Reports, and Interface Development.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven experience in defect logging, tracking, and resolution.Excellent written communication and documentation skills for technical and functional deliverables.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a project or support team environment.________________________________________
Additional InformationThis role may require participation in on-call rotation or after-hours support during go-live and critical issue resolution periods.Travel may be required based on client and project needs.Candidates with Oracle Health/Oracle Cerner certification(s) will be given preference.
