Common Job Description:
  • Experience with Cerner Application support, Incident resolution, Implementation of Cerner Millennium Projects.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting CERNER solution functionalities/Components.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting investigations and documenting notes and knowledge articles.
  • Gather requirements and determine scope of work and plan for on time delivery.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently on assigned time sensitive tasks.
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with peers and client, provide timely feedback to encourage success.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills both in written and verbal correspondence.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing landscape and acquire new skills with technology advancement and to work, coordinate with global teams.
  • Readiness towards work at odd hours/on-call and weekends as and when needed. Should be open to shifts.

    Suspended Charges, Bill Item Not Found Resolution CDM, CPT, HCPCS Codes Tiering Logic and how does it work Batch Charge Entry Add-Ons Charge Transformation Rules
Required Skills: Custom Development
Function : The CustomDevelopment team builds and supports automation to provide support and time saving processes for provisioning, revenue cycle (R1), finance and other Ascension departments. The processes supporting provisioning are account maintenance for 4 applications for Client locations . The processes supporting revenue cycle and finance reduce man hours for standard operating procedures. The processes for other Ascension departments are for various needs of the departments such as charge reconciliation and files submissions.
Support : The CustomDevelopment team supports 250+ automated processes that run on a Windows server. The support tools used are Visual Studio, SQL Server Client, Powershell, MS Excel and Word and remote desktop. There are an average of 1 incident ticket per month assigned to CustomDevelopment team and an average of 2 tickets reassigned from other teams or incorrectly from Helpdesk.
Development : The processes are written in VB.Net for screen scrapers, required to support account maintenance for MS4, Invision and Medipac, C# and Powershell for all other processes. Powershell has become the standard for non-screen scraping processes.
