Summary: As a Custom Application Architect, you will design the application architecture of custom software systems to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring that the solutions align with the overall business strategy. You will also engage in discussions with development teams to guide the implementation of the architecture, ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating new technologies and methodologies to enhance the application architecture, contributing to the continuous improvement of the systems you design. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from stakeholders and ensure alignment on architectural decisions. - Mentor junior professionals in best practices for application architecture and design. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Coupa. - Strong understanding of application architecture principles and design patterns. - Experience with cloud-based solutions and integration strategies. - Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps. - Ability to analyze and optimize system performance and scalability. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Coupa. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
