Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Indian Curry and Tandoor Chef, located in Kolkata. The chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of Indian curry dishes and tandoor specialties. Daily tasks include ingredient preparation, cooking, taste testing, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The chef will also oversee kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to health and safety standards while collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver top-quality meals.

Qualifications

• Indian Culinary Skills: Expertise in preparing Indian curry dishes and tandoor specialties
• Kitchen Management: Ability to oversee kitchen operations, ensure cleanliness, and comply with health and safety standards
• Ingredient Knowledge: Proficient in ingredient preparation, seasoning, and the use of Indian spices
• Collaboration: Team-player skills to work effectively with kitchen staff
• Experience: Previous experience as a chef in Indian cuisine is preferred
• Education: Culinary degree or equivalent training in Indian cuisine is beneficial
