Job Description

Ø Monitor patients physical status such as vitals and cardiac activity, Ø Receive & Assess patients, to determine the intensity of disease or trauma Ø Assist doctors in performing medical and diagnostic procedures Ø Assist or Perform emergency procedures Ø Maintenance of patient’s records Ø knowledge on hemodynamics, arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and pharmacology Ø Should be well versed with intravenous management and ventilator care procedures. Ø Respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors Ø Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient s medical condition. Ø To monitor Proper handing and taking over happens for the entire admitted patient each time and every time as per protocol. Ø To co-ordinate for ensuring smooth and safe transport of the patient within and outside the hospital. Ø To ensure that all the clinical instruction are followed as per the Doctor’s order on time Ø To ensure that the equipment and accessories to be used on patient are checked before usage. Ø To ensure the personal property are handed over to the relative once patient get admitted. Ø To ensure all the information regarding to patient rights, treatment information and patient safety is communicate to each and every admitted patient. Ø To have regular clear communication with Doctors, Wards, Pharmacy, Radiology, Front office OT,ICU, MSFM to minimize the communication gap and optimize the nursing care. Ø To ensure that the Privacy of patient is maintained during the entire course of treatment, procedure, investigation and during transport. Ø To ensure that in case of all Insurance and Corporate patient all the necessary entries are completed on time accurately to reduce the billing turnaround time. Ø To collect the IP feedback from each patient getting discharged with long term objective to improve services. To review the service gaps with the team members and with supervisor to improve the service.
