Position Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join our Central Sterile Supply Department. The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification in CSSD and experience in sterilization processes, instrument handling, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, clean, sterilize, and store surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to hospital protocols.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, washers, and disinfectors.
• Inspect surgical instruments and medical devices for cleanliness and functionality before and after sterilization.
• Maintain inventory of sterilized supplies and ensure timely distribution to various hospital departments.
• Adhere strictly to infection control policies, safety guidelines, and quality assurance standards.
• Record and document sterilization cycles and related activities accurately.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the CSSD work area.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Certificate/Diploma in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience working in a hospital CSSD or similar environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and instrument care.
• Ability to handle equipment safely and follow standard operating procedures.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to work in a team.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,982.94 - ₹25,622.50 per month
