Humane Animal Society (HAS) is a non-profit trust based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, dedicated to the welfare of stray animals. HAS focuses on animal birth control, anti-rabies drives, rescuing animals in urgent need of treatment, and rehabilitation. The organization also advocates for the equal rights of all sentient beings and relies on public funding, as well as contributions from individuals and corporations.

Role Description

Qualifications

• Experience in animal welfare, rescue operations, and rehabilitation
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and empathy towards animals
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Knowledge of animal welfare laws is desirable
• Certifications or training in animal welfare would be beneficial
