Credit & Risk Strategist (B2C, Fintech)
Location: Mumbai (Onsite, 5 days)

About the Role
We are hiring for a leading B2C fintech product company scaling short-tenure unsecured personal loans. You will own credit and risk strategy, underwriting design, and portfolio performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities Build and refine credit strategies for unsecured personal loans

• Improve underwriting using bureau, device, behavioural and fraud signals
• Enhance scorecards, rule engines and real-time decisioning
• Analyse bounce rates, roll rates and delinquency trends to optimise strategy
• Track vintages, cohorts and DPD buckets to adjust approval logic
• Partner with Data Science and Collections to improve portfolio outcomes
• Strengthen fraud detection and ensure policy governance
• Align policies with RBI Digital Lending guidelines and regulatory shifts

Mandatory Experience Minimum 2.5 years in unsecured personal loan credit and risk

• Experience must be in B2C fintech product companies or NBFCs
• Hands-on with automated underwriting and SMS underwriting
• Experience with scorecards, rule engines, bureau data, device signals and behavioural insights

Role Requirements Total experience: 3–6 years

• Onsite: Mumbai, 5 days per week
• Ability to convert data insights into actionable risk decisions
• Strong analytical mindset with cross-functional collaboration experience
