Credit Risk Analyst

Role Overview: You will be joining the global risk, credit & compliance team of AIR8 Finance, an LFX digital venture that aims to revolutionize supply chain financing by combining supply chain insights with financing expertise and digital technologies. As a key member of the team, your primary objective will be to contribute to the risk policy setup, credit underwriting competence development, and data-driven risk innovation to enable business growth. Your role will involve understanding clients" profiles, supply chain operations, funding pain points, and utilizing your risk underwriting skills to make high-quality credit decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Support in establishing the overall Air8 credit risk management framework and monitor its implementation for excellent risk performance. - Underwrite the risk of international suppliers and buyers, continually improving underwriting quality and efficiency using tech tools, alternative data, and innovative methods. - Manage credit risk exposure of designated portfolio by assessing and monitoring counterparties, executing risk mitigation solutions within the company's risk appetite and credit policy. - Engage with external stakeholders such as funding partners and insurers to align on the risk framework for asset distribution. - Provide quality risk reporting at the portfolio and country levels, complete ad hoc projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or economics. - 7+ years of experience in credit underwriting in financial institutions or fintech with a focus on SMEs. - Experience in cross-border trade finance, receivable finance, factoring, credit insurance, supply chain solutions, SME coverage, or relevant domain expertise is preferred. - Strong problem-solving skills, independence, maturity, resilience, and ability to handle pressure. - Fast learner with a team spirit, adaptable to a multi-cultural environment, and capable of communicating effectively in business English.,
