We create engaging video content for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, and we’re looking to take our storytelling to the next level.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Edit engaging, informative, and high-impact videos for YouTube and social media (shorts, reels, etc.)
• Cut and arrange footage, add subtitles, motion graphics, infographics, sound effects, and transitions
• Collaborate with our content team to shape scripts and visual narratives
• Create thumbnail visuals and short teaser clips when needed
• Stay updated with news trends, political developments, and social discourse to shape timely edits
• Maintain fast turnaround while ensuring quality and accuracy

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing (YouTube/news editing experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Strong sense of storytelling, pace, and visual timing
• Creativity in turning factual content into visually engaging stories
• Basic understanding of political and social current affairs is a must
• Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, templates, or designing thumbnails
