Job Description

You will be joining a performance marketing agency that specializes in scaling e-commerce brands with proven results by leveraging data, storytelling, and creativity. The team is currently seeking a Creative Strategist for Meta Ads to contribute significantly to the development of ad strategies that drive conversions and keep pace with industry trends. As the Creative Strategist, your primary responsibility will involve steering the creative direction for Meta Ads across various brands. This will entail conducting audience research, crafting engaging hooks, formulating ad angles, and collaborating with designers and editors to produce compelling ad creatives that strike a balance between storytelling and performance marketing. Your role will also require continuous analysis of data to fine-tune strategies and seize opportunities for growth. Key responsibilities of this role include conceptualizing ad campaigns and structures that align with brand objectives, devising hooks, angles, and messaging frameworks tailored to specific target audiences, staying updated on cultural, social, and platform trends to identify content opportunities, and working closely with performance marketers to ensure that creatives resonate with audience insights, offers, and funnel stages. Additionally, you will collaborate with creative professionals to bring ideas to life in various formats such as videos, static images, carousels, and user-generated content, while providing detailed briefs and references to guide the production team. In order to excel in this role, you are expected to possess a deep understanding of the Meta Ads ecosystem and its influence on performance metrics. A strong storytelling ability and the skill to craft attention-grabbing hooks within seconds are essential. Experience in creating UGC-style ads, trend-based content, and direct-response creatives, as well as the ability to analyze data metrics and offer constructive feedback to designers and editors, are also crucial for success. Moreover, familiarity with content trends on Instagram and Facebook will be beneficial. Nice-to-have skills for this role include hands-on experience in editing short-form video content, knowledge of DTC/e-commerce consumer psychology, prior work with influencers or UGC creators, and an understanding of creative testing frameworks like Hook vs Angle vs CTA testing. Key performance indicators for success in this role will involve increasing the success rate of creatives, consistently delivering new testable creatives each week, improving thumb-stop ratio and CTR across campaigns, and positively contributing to the overall return on ad spend (ROAS) and scaling performance.
