Star Maa serve high quality content to millions of customers across millions of devices, all of which are constantly evolving and changing. This role is within our Marketing team and serves as the link between Marketing and Creative teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution. Defines show positioning, sets marketing objectives, and translates strategy into clear creative briefs. Oversee creative alignment with target audience and tone, manages timelines, and ensures consistency across all media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the bridge between Marketing and Creative Communications team
  • Decide Show positioning & Translate campaign vision into clear creative briefs for promo, poster, trailer, Digital teams & Press Release Articles
  • Define Marketing Objectives for all shows based on show brief
  • Review and guide creative output to ensure it reflects TG, tone, and positioning
  • Track and manage asset timelines and feedback loops
  • Ensure consistency across all creative assets (TV, digital, print, OOH)


Skills & Attributes for success

  • Strong grasp of Telugu culture, language and sensibilities
  • Excellent Brief Writing & storytelling ability
  • Experienced in handling agencies, Promo Producers, Designers & Editors
  • Experienced in building marketing narratives across Trailers, Promos, Influencer marketing, PR etc
  • Ability to Balance Creativity with Deadlines
  • Strong Interpersonal skills. Should be able to bridge marketing, creative communications and leadership


Preferred Education & Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in creative/brand/marketing roles
  • At least 3 years of experience in handling end-to-end campaign ideation & execution in TV/OTT/Entertainment
  • Preferred Industries – Broadcast, OTT, Creative Agency (where entertainment account was handled)
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing/Media (Good-to-have, not mandatory)
