Crash Analyst

Role Overview: As a Crash Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the crash safety performance of automobiles through the utilization of CAE. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting detailed crash analysis using a vehicle FEM model, analyzing the outcomes, preparing comprehensive reports, and offering constructive feedback to support model development. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the advancement of technologies within the industry, focusing on areas that require innovation and improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Improve existing CAE models and devise new analysis techniques to elevate the accuracy of predicting vehicle body deformation, deceleration rates, damage assessment of high-voltage components (batteries, motors, etc.), functional components (door latches, seats, etc.), and occupant injury values during collision events. - Develop and optimize restraint systems like DAB, PAB, SAB, CAB to enhance occupant safety. - Implement an AI-driven CAE result analysis method that leverages machine learning to predict outcomes based on historical data, subsequently using this AI-generated data for further reinforcement. - Research and implement a robust vehicle body structure that ensures consistent performance without altering deformation characteristics or critical points, providing valuable insights to enhance the overall platform. Qualifications Required: - Possess a strong understanding of material mechanics, structural mechanics, and biomechanics. - Demonstrated experience ranging from 3 to 15 years, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in a relevant crash safety engineering role. - Proficiency in statistical analysis for data interpretation. - Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning technologies. - Fluency in Japanese for effective communication. - Exhibit an ambitious mindset with a proactive attitude towards continuous skill enhancement while valuing collaborative teamwork. - Prior experience in managing CAE engineers will be advantageous. Software Knowledge: - Mandatory proficiency in LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH software platforms. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering; or Master's degree (M.Tech) in the aforementioned disciplines.
