Crash Analyst

As a CAE Analyst specializing in Crash Simulation, you will be responsible for conducting and analyzing crash simulations using LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH. Your expertise in various vehicle crash test scenarios, including regulatory, NCAP, and OEM-specific load cases, will be crucial for model setup, execution, result analysis, and reporting for different types of crash tests such as frontal, side, rear, pedestrian, and seat integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Setting up, running, and validating crash simulations using LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH. - Applying appropriate material models, contacts, boundary conditions, and loadings for each crash event. - Interpreting and analyzing crash test results, including intrusion, acceleration, deformation, injury criteria, etc. - Providing technical insights and recommendations to design and safety teams. - Ensuring model compliance with OEM guidelines, NCAP protocols, and global crash regulations. - Participating in debugging, result correlation, and model improvement activities. Qualifications: - Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering. Essential Skills: - Strong hands-on experience in LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH. - Familiarity with pre/post tools like ANSA, Meta Post, Animator. Crash Load Case Experience: Frontal Crash: - ODB Offset Deformable Barrier - FWR Full Width Rigid - MPDB Mobile Progressive Deformable Barrier - RCAR Frontal crash (repairability) Side Crash: - POLE33 / POLE45 Oblique Pole Impact - MDB / AEMDB Side impact with deformable barrier Rear Crash: - MRB1100 Rear 50% Overlap - MRB1800 Rear Full Overlap Pedestrian Protection: - HEADNCAP Headform to bonnet/windshield - HEAD(REG) Regulation-based tests - UPPERLEG Upper legform to bumper Experience: - 5 to 10 Years in OEM and Tier 1 Automotive industry.,
