Crash Analyst

As a CAE Analyst specialized in Crash Simulation, your primary role will involve setting up, running, and validating crash simulations using LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH. You will be responsible for applying appropriate material models, contacts, boundary conditions, and loadings for various crash scenarios such as frontal, side, rear, pedestrian, and seat integrity tests. Your expertise in interpreting and analyzing crash test results will be crucial in delivering technical insights and recommendations to design and safety teams. Furthermore, ensuring model compliance with OEM guidelines, NCAP protocols, and global crash regulations will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your participation in debugging, result correlation, and model improvement activities will contribute to the overall success of the simulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set up, run, and validate crash simulations using LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH. - Apply appropriate material models, contacts, boundary conditions, and loadings for each crash event. - Interpret and analyze crash test results (intrusion, acceleration, deformation, injury criteria, etc.). - Deliver technical insights and recommendations to design and safety teams. - Ensure model compliance with OEM guidelines, NCAP protocols, and global crash regulations. - Participate in debugging, result correlation, and model improvement activities. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering. **Essential Skills:** - Strong hands-on experience in LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH. - Familiarity with pre/post tools like ANSA, Meta Post, Animator. **Frontal Crash:** - ODB Offset Deformable Barrier - FWR Full Width Rigid - MPDB Mobile Progressive Deformable Barrier - RCAR Frontal crash (repairability) **Side Crash:** - POLE33 / POLE45 Oblique Pole Impact - MDB / AEMDB Side impact with deformable barrier **Rear Crash:** - MRB1100 Rear 50% Overlap - MRB1800 Rear Full Overlap **Pedestrian Protection:** - HEADNCAP Headform to bonnet/windshield - HEAD(REG) Regulation-based tests - UPPERLEG Upper legform to bumper **Experience:** - 3 to 8 Years in OEM and Tier 1 Automotive industry.,
