Role & responsibilities - Review the Company's litigation matters and advice Management on options available. Investigate, research, analyze the legal matters and appointment of appropriate Advocate/Solicitors based on their past performances. - Attending the court, liaising with Advocate/Solicitors for initiating and follow-ups on legal procedures, handling Civil, Criminal & Arbitration cases. - Review and draft responses to Legal notices received in coordination with Advocate/Solicitors to ensure that responses are filed within stipulated time frame as decided by the Court of Law. - Meet concerned litigation parties / attorney to negotiate & settle matters amicably hence mitigating loss of time and revenue. - Follow up for withdrawal of cases / suits and ensure complainant has been provided with solutions as committed and document the same. - Coordinate with in house various design, project, Liasoning, commercial, Operations, CH/AM/AVP etc. departments for their legal requirements and obtain understanding of legal issues and drafting the letters of notices or reply or rejoinder or ser joinder etc. - Draft and file complaints/Notices/law suits on behalf of the company in the Court of Law through Advocate/Solicitors. Represent the Management for Appeals / Hearings in various Courts and influence suitable favorable verdicts / judgments for the company to protect the company's interest. - Review and advice the Management on various amendments, notifications, acts, rules, latest judgments etc by various Government institutions and research and prepare detailed analysis of these based on company's interest / business plans. Advice all concerned to ensure that company's interest / liabilities are protected. - Obtain and maintain a database/ MIS required documents for ready references. Brief Management in case of any lapse and recommend / initiate corrective actions to avoid legal hassles. - Managing Legal Managers / Juniors under him effectively for work to be done in timely manner and coordination with technical/architect team for the effective presentation. - Negotiate with Solicitors Firms for commercials & terms of appointment. Ensure effective cost control through hard negotiations. Monitor and manage the departmental budgets to ensure that cost is with the approved budget and the negotiated commercials are beneficial to the organizational interest Preferred candidate profile

Job Title: Legal Executive Tele Recovery & Debt Recovery Department: Legal Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: On-Roll Experience Required: 2 to 4 Years Educational Qualification: LLB (Bachelor of Laws) Languages Required: English, Hindi, Telugu Job Purpose: The Legal Executive will be responsible for managing the legal and operational aspects of tele-recovery and debt collection from dealers/customers. This includes attending court proceedings, filing and following up on legal cases, engaging with defaulters to recover dues, and coordinating with internal departments to streamline the recovery process. Key Responsibilities: Legal Recovery Operations: Attend court hearings on a daily basis related to existing recovery cases. File new legal cases against defaulters while exploring amicable settlements. Work closely with legal counsel and update case statuses regularly. Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on all legal matters. Tele Recovery & Customer Interaction: Counsel defaulting dealers/customers on the legal implications of non-payment. Conduct follow-ups and negotiate settlements over phone/WhatsApp/email. Categorize legal-stage dealers based on responsiveness and potential for recovery. Provide guidance to tele-callers based on case status and recovery stages. Debt Collection Strategy: Develop and implement professional strategies for the recovery of overdue and bad debts. Aim to minimize the number of legal cases by facilitating proactive recoveries. Handle calls and coordinate with over 2000 dealers, focusing on those overdue by 180+ days. Coordination & Reporting: Work in close coordination with the Marketing and Finance teams. Prepare and share regular MIS reports on recovery performance. Escalate critical recovery issues to management for timely decision-making. Communication & Documentation: Maintain complete records of legal cases and recovery communications. Ensure all correspondences are documented via emails and WhatsApp. Participate in joint conference calls with customers and field staff. Skills & Competencies Required: Strong understanding of debt recovery laws and legal processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Telugu. Ability to multitask and manage large case volumes. Proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools (email, WhatsApp).
