About the Role

Xylem Learning is looking for passionate and results-driven Academic Counsellors to join our Commerce Pro team in Kozhikode. In this role, you will guide students pursuing commerce streams (especially those preparing for courses like CA, CMA, CS, or B.Com-related programs) to choose the right learning paths. You’ll help them understand how Xylem’s Commerce Pro Course can help achieve their academic and career goals.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with students, understand the challenges of commerce education, and can effectively communicate the value of structured learning programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective commerce students and parents through inbound/outbound calls and counseling sessions.
• Understand each student’s academic standing, career goals, and interests to recommend the best-fit Commerce Pro course.
• Explain Xylem’s Commerce Pro curriculum, faculty expertise, and learning outcomes clearly and persuasively.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups and build strong relationships that convert inquiries into enrollments.
• Meet or exceed monthly enrollment and revenue targets for the Commerce Pro stream.
• Accurately update student interactions, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system.
• Stay up to date with Xylem’s course structure, offers, and new academic initiatives.
• Collaborate with the academic and marketing teams to optimize lead quality and counselling effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management, or any related discipline (preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, educational sales, or student advisory, ideally in the commerce or EdTech sector.
• Proven ability to achieve enrollment or sales targets.

Key Skills

• Excellent communication and persuasion skills in Malayalam and English.
• Strong understanding of commerce education pathways (CA, CMA, CS, B.Com, etc.).
• Empathetic listener with a consultative approach to counselling.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized and tech-savvy with experience in CRM tools or student databases.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
