Counselor – HR & Overseas Recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel and guide students and job applicants regarding overseas employment and study opportunities.
• Handle HR screening and pre-selection of candidates for international placements.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to source, screen, and shortlist candidates based on the requirements of overseas employers and institutions.
• Maintain a database of applicants and track their application, interview, and placement progress.
• Provide guidance on documentation, visa processes, and compliance requirements for overseas employment/study.
• Coordinate with international partners, universities, or employers for job postings, interviews, and on boarding processes.
• Conduct orientation and counseling sessions for selected candidates to prepare them for overseas transitions.

Key Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in HR, overseas recruitment, or student placement counseling.
• Knowledge of international hiring processes, work permits, and study abroad procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for handling candidate interactions and client coordination.
• Ability to multitask and maintain organized candidate records.
• Experience in achieving recruitment or counseling targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or any relevant field.
• Prior experience in overseas recruitment agencies or educational consultancies is an advantage.
• Familiarity with visa regulations, compliance, and international job markets.
