Role Description

We are seeking a full-time on-site Counsellor for Eye Surgeries at our Thane location. The Counsellor will be responsible for consulting with patients, explaining surgical procedures, coordinating with medical staff, maintaining patient records, and providing pre and post-surgery care information. The Counsellor will play a crucial role in patient education and support, ensuring that patients are well-informed and comfortable with their surgical decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex medical procedures in a simplified manner
• Experience in patient counseling and support
• Knowledge of eye care and surgical procedures
• Proficient in maintaining patient records and documentation
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
