Location: Worli, Mumbai.
Position Details:
● Job Title: Counsellor
● Work Hours: 9-hour shifts, including rotational shifts for 24/7 coverage.
● Working day: Monday to Saturday
Shift Timings: 9:00pm to 6:00pm/12:00pm to 8:00pm
Responsibilities:
● Offer empathetic support and counselling to victims of online abuse.
● Understand and assess the nature of the victim's issues, providing
appropriate guidance.
● Handle emergency situations, provide immediate guidance, and escalate cases
when necessary.
● Educate victims about online safety, prevention measures, and digital
wellbeing.
● Maintain confidentiality and offer a safe space for individuals seeking help.
● Keep records of counselling sessions and follow up on victim progress.
Requirements:-
● Certified in counselling or psychology.
● Experience in handling sensitive and high-stress situations
● Knowledge of cyber crime, online abuse, and human behaviour is a plus.
● Excellent communication skills in Hindi, English, Marathi.
● Flexibility to work in a rotational 8-hour shift (as this is a 24-hour helpline).
● Ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to individuals in
need.
