Role& Responsibilities
Prepare costing and proposals of company for defense projects.
1. Co-ordinate with design team as per BOM for costing: Reading/analyzing drawings, and working with engineering, drafting experts, and procurement to provide accurate time and cost estimates.
2. Familiar with all aspects of project estimating for Defense Manufacturing (Heavy Fabrication & Precision machining).
3. Experienced in tracking market pricing both domestic and international to determine current pricing impacts.
a. Evaluate returned quotations from Suppliers & Sub-Contractors and Finalize cost comparison sheets
4. Effective at time management: managing multiple interfaces including internal departments such as sales, manufacturing, project management, sourcing, purchasing, transportation, and quality control in order to achieve effective delivery of cost estimates.
5. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
6. Expert in compiling and preparing quotes
7. Experienced in handling proposals worth crores of rupees
