Cost Sr. Engineer- Business Development

As a Mechanical Engineer in our organization, your role will involve a range of responsibilities related to technical and mechanical engineering knowledge. Here are some key details about the job: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies on new RFQs and detailing costing in coordination with the Cross Functional Team (CFT). Understanding customer products and expectations, obtaining machining quotations from the NPD/Production Team, and raising inquiries to suppliers are crucial aspects of the role. Additionally, you will be involved in updating customer documentation and handling other day-to-day activities as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct feasibility studies for new RFQs - Coordinate detailed costing with the CFT - Understand customer products and expectations - Obtain machining quotations from NPD/Production Team - Raise inquiries to suppliers (RM/Hardware) - Follow up on quotations - Update customer documentation - Perform other necessary day-to-day activities **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B-Tech) - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Good communication skills - Familiarity with engineering drawings - Hands-on experience in costing components - Knowledge of various types of raw materials, CNC, VMC, HMC machines - Understanding of fabrication and machining processes Please note that our working days are Monday to Saturday (6 days a week).
