Proven experience (typically 15+ years) in a cost control or quantity surveying role within the civil construction industry, with at least 10 years in a managerial capacity .

Strong understanding of civil engineering projects, construction methods, materials, and processes.

Extensive experience in cost control

• Strong understanding of civil engineering projects, construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, cost estimation, and forecasting.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial management tools.
• Sound knowledge of contract types (e.g., FIDIC, NEC) and contractual terms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

• Comfortable working both at corporate (HO) and project site level.

• Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze financial risks, identify savings, and improve cost efficiency.
