Common Roles in the Corrugation Industry

• Corrugation Machine Incharge/Operator: Manages and oversees corrugation machines, ensuring they run smoothly, are set up correctly, and are maintained for optimal performance.
• Production Supervisor/Foreman: Oversees the entire production process, supervises operators, and ensures high-quality standards are met.
• Quality Inspector/Engineer: Monitors product quality, inspects materials, develops quality control systems, and investigates issues to ensure products meet specifications and safety standards.
• Sales Manager/Representative: Develops and implements marketing strategies, generates leads, and drives sales growth within the corrugated packaging sector.
• Packaging Designer: Creates designs for packaging, including corrugated boxes, and works with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities in a Corrugation JD

• Machine Operation & Maintenance: Operating and adjusting corrugation machines, monitoring their performance, and troubleshooting issues.
• Production Management: Planning and executing daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and optimize efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Implementing quality standards, inspecting materials and products, and ensuring compliance with industry specifications.
• Team Supervision: Leading and training machine operators and production teams.
• Safety & Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate production, maintenance, and financial records.

Typical Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is often required, with technical degrees preferred for technical roles.
• Experience: Proven experience operating and managing corrugation machines or in the packaging industry is essential for many roles.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of corrugated board manufacturing processes, technical specifications, and relevant safety regulations.
