Corporate Tax - Associate

As an Associate in our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Regional Corporate Tax teams on global tax compliance activities with a focus on corporate income tax and VAT/GST regulations. Your main tasks will include executing and managing tax compliances, communicating with stakeholders, and building strong relationships within a team environment. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting the Global Tax Reporting team in meeting internal tax reporting requirements such as tax rate determinations and group tax provisions by coordinating financial data - Running, analyzing, and compiling data for VAT/GST tax returns, including calculation of tax, reconciliation of data, financial accounting entries, and preparation of returns - Collaborating with the Regional Corporate Tax team on tax audits and litigation, responding to tax authority queries, and meeting appeal submission deadlines - Assisting in overseeing and facilitating the migration of tax processes for new regions, managing tax compliances for select locations, and mentoring junior team members - Providing support on tax advisory services, contributing to strategic projects, and identifying areas for process improvement Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge in tax and accounting rules - Expertise in direct and indirect tax processes and compliance - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) - Meticulous with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high aptitude for numbers - Ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data - Good analytical skills and ability to discuss technically with regional Corporate Tax teams Additional Company Details: - Preferred qualifications include a CA qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience in direct/indirect tax - Background in financial services, team management experience, knowledge of automation tools (Alteryx/Tableau), or experience with Transformation projects are a plus.,
