About the Role:

At Statiq, the Legal Intern will play an integral role in strengthening internal governance, compliance, and process alignment. The intern will be involved in real-time projects related to legal compliance, process evaluation, and documentation. The candidate will also work on assignments relating to IP, negotiations, contract vetting, and policy alignment under the guidance of experienced legal professionals. This is an opportunity to develop a solid foundation in corporate legal practice within a tech-driven industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build a tracking mechanism for legal process audits.
• Identify operational and compliance gaps within the company and recommend practical, process-driven solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand existing legal workflows and suggest improvements.
• Assist in ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable corporate, IP, and regulatory laws relevant to the EV and tech ecosystem.
• Conduct legal research on current laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Aid in contract lifecycle management from drafting and vetting to organizing legal documents.
• Assist in coordinating and recording internal meetings, negotiation discussions, and compliance reviews.
• Contribute to the documentation and upkeep of legal SOPs and internal policies.
• Engage in IP-related research and assist in documentation involving technology and innovation at Statiq.
• Support the legal team on issues intersecting law and technology.
• Take initiative in projects with a strong desire to learn and implement.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards understanding business needs and applying the legal lens with integrity.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Pursuing

  LLB (4th or 5th year)

  from a recognized law school.
• Preferably has completed

  1-2 prior internships

  with a law firm, legal department, or corporate legal setup.
• Basic understanding of

  corporate law

  intellectual property rights

• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented mindset.
