We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in EY Assurance. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of post-qualification experience. ### Roles and Responsibility Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality work that meets EY GAM and global team expectations. Demonstrate a strong understanding of GAM while reviewing procedures performed by GDS staff, leveraging EY tools for efficient reviews. Develop and maintain productive relationships with key EY Global counterparts like Assurance executives based out of Americas or Europe. Ensure EY Quality and Risk Management procedures are embedded into engagement team's work. Proactively discuss workflow management with assurance teams, allocate resources to assigned work, and monitor performance against standards. Demonstrate professionalism, competence, and clear communication when dealing with GDS and Global teams. Establish expectations of value to be delivered to respective GDS Global teams aligned. Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work for GDS on one’s own engagements. Standardize review processes and leverage best practices across one’s aligned engagements or beyond. Motivate and lead one’s GDS team members, identifying and fostering key talents, coaching, and supervising team members. Be responsible for various operational matters related to engagements aligned. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example. ### Job Requirements Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / ACCA / CPA. 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in mid-or top-tier accounting firms focused on external or assurance reviews. Experience working with MNC or larger domestic Indian companies, preferably within a Shared Service Environment. Possess excellent communication skills, effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills. Demonstrate the ability to confidently lead conversations and discussions with key stakeholders. Exhibit project management, leadership, coaching, counseling, and supervisory skills. Robust logical and reasoning skills are required. Ability to spread positive work culture, teaming, and live EY values. Ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues in India and global teams. Proficiency in MS – MS Office and Outlook is preferred. Interest in business and commerciality is desirable.
