Job Description

You're a copywriter and a creative thinker with a well-rounded portfolio that demonstrates work across creative disciplines and briefs. English is the primary language of communication for a majority of the brands we work on, and you will be expected to have a complete command over every aspect of it (read: grammar, punctuation, phrasing etc).

While writing is your primary craft, you enjoy seeing creative ideas take myriad forms and shapes. An ideal candidate for this role will be one who seeks the freedom that comes with attempting briefs that cut across films, digital/social, print and design opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Concept and build a clear and concise creative worldview for the brand. This includes coming up with the big idea that serves as a take off point for the creative process, building a recognisable tone of voice and pushing this POV across creative opportunities such as integrated advertising campaigns, digital/social creativity, design projects among others.
  • Pro-actively pitch original ideas that can help creatively leverage the digital-first nature of the audience landscape today
  • Aid the development and execution of creative ideas from inception through to completion and contribute to the content strategy of the brands we work on. This role needs you to take interest and ownership of the end creative product. You will need to partner and work with other creative stakeholders such as Planners/Account Managers, Content Strategists, Senior Copywriters, Art Directors, Production resources and others, to develop final form of the creatives
  • As an agency we want to raise our creative bar substantially. So you will be expected to champion higher order conceptual ideas for the brands we work on. Think Acts not Ads; Think Entertainment not vanilla communications alone

Essentials:

  • We are looking for candidates with 2-3 years of copywriting experience preferably within a pedigreed advertising, design, digital/social or mixed media creative services/agency environment
  • Versatility is key to this role. So experience that cuts across B2C and B2B brands would be desirable. Your portfolio will need to demonstrate awesome copywriting work (and hopefully stop our search instantly!)
  • We request that you not send us heavy (>5 mb) portfolio files with your application. Please send us links to your portfolio if you want us to have a look at it.
  • Preference will be given to those who are currently based in Mumbai and/or can join us immediately. We are not considering outstation candidates for this role unless they already have base in Mumbai city.
