Copywriter

Writer Customer Retention & CLM Campaigns

We are looking for a writer who can create clear, impactful, and personalised communication for customer retention and lifecycle campaigns across SMS, WhatsApp, Push Notifications, in-app messaging, and email.

Key Responsibilities

• Write customer lifecycle communication for onboarding, activation, engagement, repayment, repeat usage, and win-back journeys
• Build targeted CLM messaging for different segments using behavioural insights and user data
• Create high-performing SMS, WhatsApp, PN, and email content to drive retention, reactivation, and cross-sell
• Translate data signals into actionable, empathetic messaging that builds trust
• Partner with growth, CRM, product, and customer support teams to align communication with user journeys
• Develop and optimise message variants through A/B testing and performance tracking
• Ensure all communication adheres to brand tone, compliance, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain clarity, simplicity, and customer-first language across all touchpoints

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience writing for digital-first brands (fintech/BFSI preferred)
• Strong command over crisp, actionable, user-friendly communication
• Experience with retention or CRM tools (MoEngage, CleverTap, WebEngage, Braze) is a plus
• Understanding of CLM frameworks, segmentation, and behavioural nudges
• Ability to work cross-functionally and write with empathy, clarity, and purpose
