Job Title: Copywriter Intern

Location: Onsite – Saket, New Delhi
Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
Duration: 3 months (with opportunity for full-time placement & appraisal based on performance)

About the Role

Mad Men Marketing is seeking a Copywriter Intern who has a way with words, a curious mind, and the ability to turn ideas into engaging communication. As part of our creative team, you will get hands-on experience in developing copy for live campaigns, brainstorming concepts, and creating content for multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging copy for social media posts, reels, ads, blogs, and campaign ideas.
• Assist in developing taglines, slogans, scripts, and punchlines for brands across industries.
• Collaborate with designers, account managers, and strategists to bring creative ideas to life.
• Research trends, competitors, and cultural insights to sharpen campaign copy.
• Adapt tone and style to different brands and audiences (youthful, premium, corporate, etc.).
• Support in creating content calendars and campaign decks.
• Take feedback positively and iterate on copy to achieve client/brand expectations.

Required Skills & Qualities

• Strong command over written English (grammar, vocabulary, sentence flow).
• Creative flair with an eye for catchy headlines and campaign ideas.
• Awareness of social media trends and digital-first communication.
• Ability to write for both short-form (ads, captions, memes) and long-form (blogs, case studies, scripts) content.
• Research-oriented with the ability to turn insights into impactful copy.
• Time management skills to handle multiple briefs and meet deadlines.
• Open to feedback, collaboration, and learning in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with SEO basics and AI writing tools is a plus.

Eligibility

• Students or recent graduates in Advertising, Communication, Marketing, Literature, Media Studies, or related fields.
• A passion for writing, creativity, and brand storytelling.
• Portfolio or writing samples (social posts, blogs, scripts, or campaign ideas) will be preferred.
