Copywriter

Responsibilities: We are seeking a creative and persuasive Copywriter to join our marketing team and become the voice of the Grand Hypermarkets brand. As our Copywriter, you will craft compelling and clear copy across all marketing channels, connecting with our customers and driving them to action.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy, without the help of generative AI, for a wide range of marketing materials, including print ads, flyers, in-store banners, and outdoor billboards.
• Develop engaging and persuasive content for all digital platforms, such as website copy, social media captions, WhatsApp / email marketing campaigns, blog posts, and video scripts.
• Create catchy and memorable taglines, slogans, and headlines for promotional campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure that copy and visuals work together to create a cohesive and impactful message.
• Adapt writing style and tone to suit different target audiences and marketing channels while maintaining the overall brand voice.
• Proofread and edit copy to ensure it is free of errors and aligns with brand guidelines.
• Conduct research on products, industry trends, and competitors to inform your writing and generate fresh ideas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a copywriter, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates versatility and persuasive writing skills.
• Experience in writing for retail, e-commerce, or FMCG brands is highly preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of the English language (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to write for both long-form content and short, punchy ad copy.
• Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into compelling copy.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
