Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Copy Editor cum Proofreader (English) to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across our educational publications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of the English language, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to refine content to meet our high editorial and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit, proofread, and refine manuscripts to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and readability.
• Review and correct typographical, factual, and formatting errors.
• Maintain the style, tone, and structure of educational content as per company guidelines.
• Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to deliver error-free and engaging content.
• Ensure content aligns with curriculum requirements and maintains factual accuracy.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, grammatical mistakes, spelling errors and style.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify language and formatting inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and editing/proofreading tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Prior experience in academic or publishing content editing and proofreading preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
