We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Copy Editor to join our dynamic team within the Information Technology and Services industry. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality and clarity of various written materials, ensuring that all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our internal guidelines and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style, along with a keen eye for detail to help improve the overall readability of technical documentation, marketing materials, and web content. As a Copy Editor, you will work closely with writers, product managers, and project stakeholders to provide constructive feedback and make necessary edits. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining a consistent tone and voice across all communications, thus enhancing our organization’s reputation as an industry leader. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where your editorial expertise will directly impact our marketing efforts and client engagement. Responsibilities

  • Review and edit technical documents, marketing materials, and web content for clarity and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all written materials adhere to company branding and style guidelines.
  • Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts to clarify and enhance content.
  • Proofread documents for grammatical, typographical, and punctuation errors before publication.
  • Maintain a consistent tone and voice throughout all communications and materials.
  • Provide constructive feedback to authors to improve the quality of their writing.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of professional editing experience, preferably in the Information Technology sector.
  • Strong command of the English language, grammar, and style conventions.
  • Proficiency in using editing and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and editing software.
  • Ability to understand and edit complex technical content for clarity and audience comprehension.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
