Job Description

The role will be responsible for effective mainstreaming of livelihood projects at United Way Mumbai. we're looking for a dynamic person who has strong programme management skills & expertise in working for in urban & rural communities. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation of livelihood programs including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Assist in creating and executing weekly/ monthly project plans in alignment with the overall project timelines and goals. Identifying and liaising with sector expert organizations, government departments, private agencies, and NGOs for collaboration on various project components. Coordinate with the project team to ensure clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, and support timely completion of all assigned deliverables as per the project plan. Facilitate smooth communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders including government bodies, partner organizations, and community groups. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of project activities, including event reports, field updates, case studies, and outcome tracking. Prepare and submit regular project progress reports and updates to the Manager for donor reporting requirements. Maintain the financial records, tracking expenditures, and supporting the Manager in financial reconciliation and reporting of project activities. Profile requisites: bachelors degree in Social Sciences / Rural Development / Management or related field (masters degree preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in livelihoods, skilling, or community development projects. Prior experience in community outreach, mobilization, and working with rural or marginalized communities is desirable. Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills Must be efficient in communicating in English and Hindi and efficiency in Marathi. The candidate must be a team player and should be willing to travel for implementing program activates.
