Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Cook and serve dishes strictly following

    satvika vegetarian prasadam recipes

    , portioning meals appropriately.
  • Prepare ingredients: wash, peel, chop vegetables; measure, mix dals, rice, and grains.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment: stove, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and hygienicsanitize surfaces, wash dishes, sweep, and mop daily.
  • Maintain inventory: monitor supplies (rice, lentils, spices, oils), prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation norms (handwashing, temperature control, safe storage).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with

    vegetarian or Indian cooking

    —especially simple temple-style dishes.
  • Ability to follow

    standardized recipes

    and maintain consistency.
  • Basic understanding of

    food hygiene and safety
