Job Title: Cook / Commis Chef Location: Avishikta, Kolkata Job Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Head Chef Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Cook / Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining hygiene standards with daily kitchen operations at outlets. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine love for cooking. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking menu items as per standard operating procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations Measure, weigh, and prepare basic ingredients Ensure proper storage of all ingredients and food items Help with receiving and checking deliveries Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation Requirements: Prior experience as a commis or cook is preferred (training can be provided) Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment Strong team player with a willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
