About Our Client
A reputable US based organization within the healthcare sector, this is a well-established large organization known for its commitment to delivering excellence in health services. The company is focused on enhancing healthcare outcomes through innovative solutions and effective marketing strategies.
- Oversee and maintain relationships with bulk medicine suppliers in India, ensuring compliance with quality standards and timelines. ? Support US-based team to manage supplier network in India to achieve key project goals. ?
- Ensure all manufacturing processes meet USFDA regulatory standards and internal quality expectations.
- Work collaboratively with US-based team and Indian production partners to ensure high-quality products are available for all sales channels, through SOPs, on-site oversight and weekly meetings.
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day management of production, including Cabinet Health, private label and other brands.
- Manage the supply chain from API sourcing to finished bulk products, including coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth import into the US.
- Work collaboratively with US-based team to ensure timelines are met or exceeded across production, shipping and delivery to US-based facility and products are delivered OTIF (on-time and in-full).
- Travel to visit facilities on a regular basis to maintain relationships, review production processes, ensure products are shipped on-time and in-full, or address production challenges.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from line workers to senior management,
The Successful Applicant
- 8-10+ years of pharmaceutical contract manufacturing management experience for facilities that service the US market.
- Experience managing facilities that produce FDA regulated medications and/or supplements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with US-based team and also independently to achieve Company goals.
- Strong and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain, production processes, quality requirements in India.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and ability to identify new suppliers, nice to have.
- Knowledge/experience of Six Sigma or Lean.
- Proficient and comfortable communicating with international teams, effective and empathetic communicator.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Highly adaptable and organized, able to leverage multiple sources and platforms to generate solutions.
- Proactive self-starter, always a few steps ahead.
- Highly detailed-oriented and able to dive into the weeds to achieve desired outcomes but also able to see the bigger picture to drive decision making.
- Infinitely curious and excited to disrupt an antiquated industry.
