You will be responsible for creating and innovating Continental cuisine menus, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Additionally, you will prepare and cook high-quality dishes following recipes and presentation standards. It is crucial to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation, adhering to health and safety regulations. You will also be in charge of managing kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients. Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff to follow proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols will be part of your role. Monitoring food costs and optimizing kitchen operations to minimize waste is essential. Collaboration with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth kitchen operations is another key aspect of the job. Furthermore, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, is a part of your responsibilities.
