As a Content Writer at Wishes and Blessings, a registered NGO dedicated to various causes such as education, nutrition, healthcare, skill development, and care for the elderly and homeless, your role will involve creating impactful content to showcase the organization's work, strengthen donor relationships, and boost our online and offline presence. Key Responsibilities: - Write, edit, and proofread content for the NGO's website, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and reports. - Develop engaging storytelling pieces that focus on beneficiaries, impact stories, and events. - Create donor communication materials including proposals, thank you letters, impact reports, and campaigns. - Generate content for social media posts, reels, and stories in line with ongoing campaigns. - Manage the NGO's social media presence by crafting captivating captions, storytelling posts, and campaigns. - Collaborate with the communications team to create content calendars. - Draft CSR proposals, presentations, and project reports to support fundraising initiatives. - Assist in content creation for events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns. - Stay updated on trends in the NGO/social sector to create relevant and timely content. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. - 2 years of professional writing experience, preferably in NGOs, media, or communications. - Proficiency in English language (both written and spoken). - Strong storytelling abilities and versatility in writing across various formats. - Familiarity with social media content writing and digital marketing trends. - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects concurrently. - A deep passion for social causes and empathy towards vulnerable communities.
