About the Role

Join our team as an AI Prompt Engineer and become the go-to AI expert for our Australian telecom and web business. We work across telco and digital platforms with a vision to expand, offering you a long-term growth opportunity.
In this role, you will design, build, and refine prompts to train AI models in text and voice for real-world scenarios such as customer support automation, lead generation, and workflow automation. You will help shape how AI delivers value across our customer-facing platforms, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
You will also prepare clear documentation for clients to explain what is needed for training their AI models, making you the subject matter expert for all things AI within our team.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and optimise prompts to train AI models for various use cases, including customer support, lead generation, and other business automation tasks.

Train and fine-tuned AI for text and voice scenarios, ensuring natural, efficient, and accurate outputs.

Work with product and engineering teams to integrate AI-powered workflows into live systems.

Access and utilise different AI platforms (OpenAI, LangChain, Twilio, Jambonz, Dialogflow, and similar) and understand API integrations.

Test, evaluate, and refine outputs for accuracy, tone, and relevance across platforms.

Prepare documentation for clients outlining requirements and guidelines for effective AI training.

Stay up to date with developments in AI, LLMs, and voice/text AI applications to ensure we use the best practices in our projects.

Ensure all outputs meet privacy and data security standards.

Education and Certifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.

Certifications or completed courses in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science (Google, AWS, Microsoft are a plus).

Additional training in computational linguistics or LLMs will be an advantage.

Preferred Tools & Technologies

Experience with platforms such as OpenAI / GPT, LangChain, Twilio, Jambonz, Dialogflow.

Familiarity with API tools (Postman, REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI).

React knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
