Job brief

We are looking for a Content Writer to join our editorial team and help us create new blog posts, existing blog posts, and guides or downloadable. If you’re familiar with producing online content for websites and social media and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

● Generate content pitches based on current events and market trends

● Complete writing assignments within project specifications and deadlines

● Market products and services through blog posts, ebooks, email, and more

● Increase website traffic by following SEO best practices and creating engaging content

● Understand the content creation process and work with the SEO team to create optimized content

● Write 12 - 15 long form content pieces for the website every month

Requirements and skills

● Fresher – 3.5 years’ work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role

● Basic knowhow of Edtech, SEO and Digital Marketing

● Portfolio of published articles

● Experience doing research using multiple sources, statistics and online journals etc.

● Creative and strategic-thinking skills

● Excellent writing and editing skills in English

● Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems(e.g. WordPress)

● Ability to meet deadlines

● Some background in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
