Content Strategist

As a Content Strategist at Adventures Overland, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and executing engaging content strategies across digital platforms, with a primary focus on social media. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and executing monthly content calendars for social media platforms. - Writing captivating captions, video scripts, carousels, and promotional content. - Regularly posting reels, stories, and carousels on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. - Engaging with the audience by responding to comments and DMs, and facilitating lead transfers to the sales team. - Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and impressions, and recommending enhancements. - Collaborating with design and video teams to produce compelling visual content. - Contributing to brainstorming sessions for campaigns, contests, and giveaways. - Staying abreast of current trends in travel, content, and social media to maintain a fresh and relevant online presence. Qualifications required for this role include: - 12 years of experience in content writing, social media, or digital marketing. - Strong creative writing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent tone with the brand. - Proficiency in creating content for Instagram and short-form video formats. - Being an organized, multitasking professional comfortable collaborating across teams. - Previous experience in the travel industry would be advantageous. - An added advantage would be the ability to craft witty one-liners and engaging reel scripts.
