Consulting Technical Manager - PLSQL and Banking Support

The service offerings encompass Application Implementation, Managed Services, and Customization development services for Oracle Financial Services Software Banking products. As a Technical Consultant in the Banking Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to apply your technology knowledge, skills, and experience to work with a new generation of Oracle Banking products built on next-generation architecture leveraging the latest technologies. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, a proactive attitude, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and technical troubleshooting skills. You will be involved in various activities such as Development, Implementation, and Managed Services, serving as a Senior Technical team member leading medium to large teams, guiding deliverables, providing technical services, and assisting with analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Leading technical team members in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activities - Providing technical services for Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking product development and implementation - Participating in project meetings and Product-Walkthrough workshops with the Customer - Analyzing solution approaches, estimations, best practices, project risks, and recommendations - Developing programs as per specifications/requirements, conducting unit testing, and supporting testing cycles - Coordinating with stakeholders for project deliveries, implementation of fixes, and managing customer relationships - Adhering to defined standards/processes, ensuring quality code delivery, and translating business requirements into technology or design specifications - Planning, managing, and communicating project progress, achieving milestones, and performing proper handover/knowledge transfer Qualifications: - 8 to 10 years of experience in end-to-end Development, Implementation, or Support activities for core banking applications - Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Rest API, JavaScript, XML, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and software programming - Hands-on experience with Oracle Flexcube UBS, Release management, Source control tools, Issue tracking, and client interaction - Good knowledge of banking terminologies, processes, team management, and IT skills - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification Additional Skills: - Exposure to Banking Domain, DevOps tools, Testing tools, and latest technologies in Banking - Experience in software deployment, troubleshooting, and database performance analysis - Ability to translate customer business requirements into workable solutions - Team player with good communication, documentation, and client interaction skills Work Environment: - Willingness to work offshore and travel to client locations - Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment and pursue FLEXCUBE Technical certifications as required Oracle offers a dynamic work environment, global opportunities, competitive benefits, and a commitment to inclusivity and innovation.
