Consultant/Assistant Manager - Indirect Tax - CA

Roles & Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end compliances under GST- preparation / reviewing tax computations and periodic GST returns
• Effectively understanding & responding to regular Indirect Tax queries of clients
• Assisting seniors in litigation matters of clients including drafting replies to show cause notices, drafting appeals, attending personal hearing, representing the client before authorities, etc.
• Preparation and filing of GST refund
• Managing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C assignments including planning of the assignments
• Managing IDT due diligence/ reviewing assignments
• Managing multiple clients and being SPOC ensuring regular communication and interaction with on- going assignments and new developments
• Developing and maintaining relationship with clients
• Preparing proposals and pitch presentations
• Assisting managers with respect to MIS preparation and tracking billings and receivables
• Regular review of deliverables and taking responsibility over timelines and quality of deliverables
• Researching on various critical litigative issue and conducting regular technical trainings/ knowledge sharing sessions within team
• Supporting managers in article writing
• Mentoring/ guiding consultants and trainees of the team
  

Desired Profile

• Education: CA/ LLB with relevant exposure in Indirect Tax
• 0-1years of post-qualification experience in GST and Customs including FTP, Service Tax, Central Excise, VAT/ CST
• Working knowledge of GST Portal
• Experience in regular compliances along with advisory and litigation
