Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Set up, manage, and maintain
STEM lab facilities and technology resources
in selected government schools for students from
Class 6 to 10
.
Take regular
technical/STEM classes for children
, supporting their understanding through experiments, demonstrations, and interactive learning.
Provide on-site
technical support to teachers
to effectively use lab equipment and integrate STEM concepts into classroom lessons.
Assist in conducting practical sessions, ensuring student safety and hands-on learning during lab activities.
Conduct and support learning assessments
to track student progress in science and math.
Mentor students on
small projects and activity-based learning
, encouraging critical thinking and innovation.
Support
teacher training and capacity-building
to improve their confidence in delivering STEM content.
Monitor usage of lab resources,
troubleshoot technical issues
, and maintain records and reports.
Engage with the community, parents, and School Management Committees (SMCs)
to promote ownership and sustain STEM learning beyond the project period.
Coordinate with school authorities, Project Coordinator, Academic Coordinators, the
MIS team
, and project stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or Science Education.
3–4 years’ experience in technical/educational/STEM-related roles.
Good knowledge of lab tools, troubleshooting, and educational tech.
Experience in teacher training and working with school communities is desirable.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel across intervention schools.
