Consultant Teacher

As a Consultant Teacher at CRY, your role will involve preparing portfolios or profiles of each child, preparing monthly reports, planning assessments, and preparing impact reports every three months. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and staff to identify the learning needs and goals of each student. Designing and implementing individualized or small-group instruction plans that align with the curriculum will be a key responsibility. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement, and advocating for the students" well-being and academic success will also be part of your duties. You will foster a positive and respectful learning environment, participate in professional development activities and meetings with other consultant teachers, and provide academic guidance and support to students in grades 6 to 8 who are enrolled in the program. Mobilizing students for regular sessions, events, etc., monitoring and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of the teaching and learning activities on the students" outcomes and well-being, and collaborating with other teachers, staff, and volunteers to plan and implement cross-curricular activities, projects, and events will be essential. You will also design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for students in grades 6 to 8, aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives.
