Job Description

Deloitte is looking for a highly skilled

Automation Consultant

with 3 5 years of experience in designing and implementing automation solutions across various business processes and technologies. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive intelligent automation initiatives using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions across business units.
Analyze existing processes and identify automation opportunities using RPA and other automation technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional automation workflows.
Maintain and enhance automation solutions, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Document process flows, technical designs, and test cases.
Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Monitor bots in production, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Stay current with automation trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:

3 to 5 years of experience in process automation, with hands-on expertise in RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Automate.
Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, VBScript, or JavaScript.
Experience integrating automation solutions with ERP systems, databases, APIs, and other enterprise applications.
Understanding of OCR technologies, AI/ML concepts, and intelligent automation is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Prior consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Certifications in RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.) are highly desirable.
