An SAP S/4HANA Technical Consultant designs, develops, and implements technical solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment, focusing on ABAP development, data modeling, OData services, and system integration to meet business requirements. Key responsibilities include technical analysis, custom coding, performing unit testing, supporting data migration, collaborating with functional teams, and ensuring technical best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Development:
Design and develop custom programs using S/4HANA technologies, including ABAP OO, CDS, and AMDP.
Data & Integration:
Develop OData services for system communication and create technical solutions for data migration and conversions.
System Optimization:
Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance, implement AMDP to push data-intensive operations to the database, and use Fiori analytics and reporting.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to functional consultants, assist with system upgrades and patching, and perform code reviews.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and create detailed technical documentation.
Mentorship:
Mentor junior developers, ensuring their work meets quality standards and aligns with project goals.
